Meta has announced the launch of its AI Glasses Impact Grants, a new initiative aimed at supporting organisations and developers using Meta’s AI-powered glasses to drive positive societal and economic change.
Meta’s AI glasses are reshaping how people experience the world by unlocking new opportunities for creativity, learning, and self-expression, while enabling more intuitive ways to connect. Beyond consumer use, the glasses are already delivering real-world impact across sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and accessibility—providing hands-free, real-time data and enhanced collaboration.
Through the new grants program, U.S.-based organisations can apply under two categories. Accelerator Grants are intended for groups already using Meta’s AI glasses to scale their impact, while Catalyst Grants are designed for organisations proposing new, high-impact applications built using Meta’s Device Access Toolkit.
Meta will award 15 Accelerator Grants of $25,000 and 10 Accelerator Grants of $50,000, depending on project scale, along with five Catalyst Grants of $200,000 each. In total, nearly $2 million will be distributed to more than 30 organisations and developers. Eligible applicants range from early-stage startups to multi-state organisations focused on accessibility, sustainability, and community-driven innovation.
The announcement follows Meta’s Wearables Community Summit held in December 2025, which brought together more than 80 developers and innovators demonstrating how they are using Meta’s AI glasses to build new experiences, solve real-world challenges, and drive innovation.
